Travis was born and raised in Oakland, California, attending Redwood Heights Elementary, Bret Hart Middle School, and Skyline High School. He played soccer in Oakland’s Jack London soccer club for ten years and on Skyline High School’s varsity soccer team. Travis has spent his time working as a teacher/driver/summer camp director and worked with children of all ages at the Knowland Park Zoo, Sarah Science summer camp, and most recently as an after school program teacher at the JCC of the East Bay. Travis enjoys camping, hiking with his dog, playing basketball and soccer, gardening, and spending time with his friends and family. Travis is currently working on his B.A. in elementary education and on his way to becoming a fully-certified elementary school teacher.
