Robert Thomas was raised in Pennsylvania and earned a BA in Economics from Ursinus College. Robert began his career at Corestates Bank in Philadelphia and then transitioned into the medical device field with Baxter Healthcare. He was the founder of two medical device companies that were acquired, and most recently was the President and CEO of Fox Hollow Technologies, Inc., a publicly held medical device company that treats patients with Peripheral Arterial Disease. Robert currently sits on the boards of numerous medical device companies and acts as an advisor for a hedge fund based in San Francisco. Robert and his wife, Laura Monterosso, a native San Franciscan, have a daughter, Mackenzie, in the San Francisco Friends School class of 2014.
