Jennifer Stuart grew up in Chappaqua, New York and attended Horace Greeley School. Jen joined our fine and performing arts department from the California College of Arts where she managed the art education department of the Center for Art and Public Life. She has worked extensively with teachers at Mills College, CCA, Alameda County Office of Education and Harvard’s Project Zero Summer Institute. Jennifer’s teaching career includes eight years at San Francisco Day School, where she directed the advisory program, the student council and a school-wide service-learning program in addition to her art teaching duties. Jen co-founded Out of Site, a nonprofit dedicated to serving youths from public and charter schools where there is no arts instruction. Jen and her partner, Josh, have a preschool-aged son, Erez, who loves the daily family hikes in their Portrero Hill neighborhood.
