Alyssa has been working professionally with young people for more than eight years as both a preschool teacher and nanny. She is enthused and inspired by the diverse experiences and perspectives children bring to her life. Matriculating from high school in Modesto, California, Alyssa earned her B.A. in Sociology from San Francisco State University and will begin a teaching credential program this fall. In her free time, Alyssa loves to surround herself with animals, read, cook and sing. She was married to SFFS middle school math/science teacher Tracie Mastronicola in the summer of 2011.
