Lisa McEachron joined the SFFS staff in 2009 after a hiatus in her career as a physical education teacher. Lisa originally taught P.E. at Katherine Delmar Burke School in the mid-1990s for three years. Previous to that, she taught in the East Bay at an elementary school and at a K-12 school for emotionally-disturbed students. Lisa brings a host of physical education skills to our school - she is a seasoned bike tour leader, an experienced coach, and an events coordinator. Lisa pioneered our first Field Day in the spring of 2010. She is an ardent believer in preparing students for lifelong fitness and physical activity. She has both a B.A. (Cal State, Chico) and M.S. (Cal State, Hayward) in Physical Education, and an abiding interest in health education. Lisa is an avid camper, hiker and biking enthusiast, having biked 2000 miles from Oregon to Colorado. She enjoys reading, gardening, and cooking. Lisa has two children, Elizabeth and Annie.
