Harold (Koof) Kalkstein is a graduate of Swarthmore College, where he majored in Economics and Political Science, and of the Graduate School of Business at Stanford where he received his MBA. He is also a graduate of Greene Street Friends School, a K-8 school as well as Germantown Friends School, both in Philadelphia. For 22 years Koof worked at the Boston Consulting Group, founding their global energy practice, running their San Francisco office and heading up their alumni program. Prior to that he spent three years working in the Washington DC area for Energy and Environmental Associates. Koof currently is on the board of Swarthmore College, a member of their finance, audit, property and Nominating and Governance committees and is on the board of Greene Street Friends, clerking their finance committee. His son Alex lives in London and studying for his Master in Psychology, having also graduated from Swarthmore, while his daughter Katie, a graduate of Colby College, is an assistant Director of Development at City and Country school, a K-8 in New York City.
