Khan, Saber
Fifth and Seventh Grade Math/Science Teacher

Saber Khan joined the SFFS staff in the fall of 2009 as a middle school science specialist, teaching fifth and seventh graders and helping SFFS build and outfit our new science laboratories. Originally from Bangladesh, Saber spent his childhood in Belgium and Saudi Arabia before the family settled in Chicago. Saber studied biology and history at Kenyon College and began his teaching career as a New York City Teaching Fellow in Brooklyn. Saber has been teaching middle school science for the last six years, most recently at Notre Dame des Victoire and the Charles Armstrong School. He is working on his special education credential at San Francisco State University in the evenings. During the summer of 2009 he worked at a biotech lab at UCSF and visited Germany and in the summer of 2010 he taught and trained teachers in Bangladesh.
