Hoang, Christine

Christine Hoang was born in Dalat, Vietnam and, at the age of four, immigrated to the United States. She was raised in San Jose and later attended the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and law school at UC Berkeley. For many years, Christine practiced intellectual property law in the Bay Area. She now practices family and immigration law, at Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach, a non-profit providing direct legal services to battered immigrant women. She and her husband Paul Nakada, live in San Francisco with their three children; Maddy is in the San Francisco Friends School class of 2012, Yoshi is in the Class of 2015, and Frances is in the class of 2018.
