Brian Elliott grew up in Illinois and earned his BA in Economics and Mathematics from Northwestern University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Brian worked for Boston Consulting Group in Chicago, Singapore and San Francisco for a number of years as a strategy consultant to Fortune 500 consumer retail and technology companies. He is currently CEO of Monsoon Commerce, a technology company that helps merchants grow their business online.  Monsoon Commerce serves over 20,000 merchants ranging from startups through Fortune 100 clients.   Prior to being CEO of Monsoon Commerce, Brian served as CEO of Alibris, the leading online marketplace for independent booksellers.  Brian and his wife, Maureen McAvoy, have two sons; Connor is in the San Francisco Friends School Class of 2014, and Riley is in the Class of 2016.
