Cotom, Eswin Omar
Janitor

Eswin “Omar” Cotom was born and raised in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, along with his five brothers and sisters. After graduating with a technical degree as a lathe operator, Omar was married, and he and his wife welcomed their first child, Lorenis, born on Christmas Eve. Omar worked as a machinery operator in a manufacturing plant before coming to the United States. In America, he missed his family and struggled to adjust to the new language and customs. Returning to Guatemala, Omar still found few opportunities in his home country, and after the birth of his third child, he returned to San Francisco. Some years later, he was able to bring his wife and children to join him and the Cotom family found their spiritual home at Ministerios Cosecha. Son, Omar, and daughter, Tania, live with Omar and Gloria; their oldest daughter Lorenis, age 20, lives in Guatemala. Omar’s nephews, Sergio and Boris, both attend SFFS.
