Lee, Christine
Fourth Grade Teaching Assistant

A Korean-American, Christine grew up as the youngest of three girls in Santa Monica, CA. She attended Boston University where she earned a B.S. in communication with a minor in psychology. Christine moved to San Francisco in the fall of 2008 to work at a public relations agency. After about a year of working in a cubicle, she realized that she wanted to be an elementary school teacher. While making her career transition, Christine spoke with a teacher friend (coincidentally a SFFS teacher) who introduced her to some of his colleagues and his school. It was love at first sight. He also introduced her to the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute (BATTI). Christine is currently in her second year as a BATTI student and was previously a second grade assistant at SFFS. In her spare time, she enjoys being overly competitive at board games and sports (like tennis and whiffle ball) and likes to bake, play cello and sing in the shower.
